What makes Pure Metal Tech® different?

Pure Metal Tech® is fundamentally different to traditional coated metals. There are no applied surface coatings—only pure metal. This eliminates the risk of fading, peeling or delamination. The finish is embedded within the material itself, delivering a deeper, more permanent aesthetic. Read more about Pure Metal Tech®.

Do you work with homeowners or only architects?

We work with all stakeholders. While we collaborate closely with architects, builders and developers, we also partner directly with homeowners seeking a refined, design-led outcome.

What products do you offer?

We primarily supply solid metal flat sheets, with fabrication available through our network. Applications include: Architectural cladding, Privacy screens, Perforated panels, Battens, Gates & fencing, Feature façades, Soffits, Internal wall linings, Custom metal fabrication. All solutions are tailored, no off-the-shelf products.

What types of metals are available?

We work with premium materials including aluminium, stainless steel, copper, brass and titanium. Each offers unique aesthetic and performance characteristics depending on the application. View our range of Finishes here

Are your products compliant with Australian Standards?

Yes, our metal is designed and supplied in accordance with relevant Australian Standards. Folded cassette panels are tested to AS4284, via AS4040.2, and comply with AS1562.1. Flat sheets are deemed-to-satisfy under AS1562.1. Supporting documentation can be provided where required.

Is Dreamet fire-rated?

Yes, Dreamet Pure Metal Tech® is non-combustible and tested to AS1530.1 (Combustibility) & AS1530.3 (Spread of Flame). Compliance documentation is available on the Resources page.

Is Dreamet suitable for coastal environments?

Yes. Materials can be selected specifically for coastal conditions to ensure long-term durability and corrosion resistance.

How long does the material last?

Our materials are designed for longevity. While warranties of up to 10 years are available upon request, most installations will exceed this lifespan when properly specified, installed and maintained.

Will my material patina over time?

This depends on the material, environment, and application. External and coastal conditions will accelerate natural ageing, while protected areas will evolve more subtly. Some metals such as copper are designed to develop character over time.

If the surface is scratched, can it be repaired?

In most cases, no repair is required. As there is no coating, there is nothing to chip or peel. The finish is embedded within the metal, offering superior resistance to visible wear.

What is your process from start to finish?

Our process is structured and transparent: 1. Specification Support, 2. Façade Set-Out Confirmation, 3. Production Drawings, 4. Manufacturing, 5. Packaging & Delivery, 6. Installation Support. We remain involved throughout to ensure the design intent is maintained. To read more about our full process visit Our Story.

Do you handle installation?

We do not install directly, however we can recommend experienced installers familiar with our systems.

Do you provide shop drawings?

Shop drawings are typically prepared by your architect or fabricator. We can collaborate where required to ensure compatibility with our materials.

Can I install the product myself?

This depends on the application and system. Some systems require licensed professionals, while others, such as internal flat sheet applications, may be suitable for self-installation. We recommend consulting with your builder or installer.

Can Dreamet be fabricated after the finish is applied?

Yes. Fabrication of Dreamet sheets takes place first, including processes such as folding, perforating and cutting. This approach sets Dreamet apart, as most coating systems are applied after fabrication. Dreamet sheets are supplied pre-finished with Pure Metal Tech® and a protective film over the surface of the metal.

What are your lead times?

Lead times are typically 12 weeks from order to delivery. Custom finishes, imagery or fabrication completed in Italy may extend this by an additional 2–4 weeks depending on complexity.

Can you colour match existing finishes?

Custom colour matching is available as a made-to-order service, typically requiring an additional 3–4 weeks. Samples can be provided prior to order confirmation.

Can I customise a finish?

While all our finishes are custom, we do offer a curated range of standard finishes to choose from online. If you wish to customise a standard finish or have a completely new vision, please get in touch and we can work together on it.

Can you incorporate custom imagery or perforation patterns?

Yes. We can embed custom imagery directly into the metal, including photographic visuals, logos and branding. We also offer a bespoke perforation and embossing design service to create patterns tailored to your project.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing is based on project-specific factors including material selection, sheet size, finishes and fabrication requirements such as perforation, embossing or custom imagery. For all tailored quotes, please get in touch.

Is Dreamet more expensive than standard alternatives?

We operate at the premium end of the market. Dreamet’s Pure Metal Tech® is a specialised product that cannot be substituted by conventional coating processes and is exclusively available through Pureform Metals in Australia & NZ.

How is shipping handled?

Shipping is managed through a dedicated international logistics network from Italy to Australia. Costs are confirmed at the time of order and may vary due to market conditions.
